“ Bench Coffee Co is a cool place to hang out. Very excellent coffee and some lovely sweet treats. Be aware that parking is not the easiest. Read a previous review here where it states plenty of parking. My review is in Dec 2025 and a car park that used to be here is now a cleared, fenced off piece of land. Get onto public transport or walk if you’re local in Brunswick. ”

“ I love Bench and Little Cardigan - they make real V60 pourover coffee and unlike other places it won't break the bank, i think their options top out at $18 or so. The Kawa Morning Set and the Shokopan are delicious - first time I'd seen really good quality Shokopan outside of Tokyo! Wishes: I'd love to see more variety in their filter options, having had their most recent three I felt they were all too similar in profile, and would love to see a co-ferment or a top-shelf option to add some variety! LOVE the attention to detail from the baristas and the cups and tableware from Chips Japan had me going out to buy my own at home :) LOVE the long communal tables. The missing star on atmosphere is not criticism, it's a warehouse setting and that has its own vibe and disadvantages, the concrete/industrial vibe is great but could be warmed up a bit with some more personal touches. ”
